Work Culture & Retention!

Work Culture & Retention

When searching for a job, you are most concerned about what salary you will be collecting, company profile, and job profile & company location. Although a high salary or brand name may attract you at first, the work environment that you attend to every day plays a vital role. a positive & healthy work environment retains employees in the long run, and motivates them to work harder.

Every organization has its own culture. Since we spend 8 or more hours a day at their workplace, their organization’s culture obviously affects both work lives as well as personal lives.

our work environment encompasses more than the cafeteria, office area and lobby. Policies, infrastructure, professional relationships and company culture also nurture the environment in which we work. Communication plays an important role in work culture. A healthy organizational culture helps to unite employees of different demographics. Many employees within an organization come from different backgrounds, families and traditions and have their own cultures. Healthy competition among employees is one of the results of a healthy organizational culture. Employees will struggle to perform at their best to earn recognition and appreciation from their superiors. This in turn increases the quality of their work, which helps the organization flourish and prosper. Good mentorship or leadership leads to better performance which provides employees with a sense of direction and expectations that keep employees on job.
rigid hr policies & restrictive environment is main source for higher attrition rate. big brand names retain employees but not always if they fail to provide remuneration on time or fail to provide career growth.  Growing companies with well-timed salary, flexible hr polices & good mentorship retains good employees.  Keeping good employees and developing employee loyalty becomes increasingly important and a long-term challenge.
